Delivery & Returns Policy

This policy covers delivery, damaged or incorrect items, change-of-mind returns, warranties, and refunds for orders placed on TradeQuip SA.

Delivery

We deliver nationwide across all 9 South African provinces and into the wider SADC region. Delivery cost and lead time depend on the product’s size, weight, and destination, and are confirmed before your order is dispatched. Items are sourced to order through our South African supplier network. Availability and lead time are confirmed before your order is accepted, and dispatch follows once payment reflects.

Once a delivery leaves our premises, risk in the goods passes to the courier/freight provider acting on your behalf; please inspect your delivery on arrival and note any visible damage with the driver before signing.

Delivery charges

Delivery within South Africa is a flat R500 on orders up to R15 000, calculated automatically at checkout before you pay. Larger orders are charged as below:

Order valueDelivery
Up to R15 000R500
R15 000 – R40 000R2 500
Over R40 000R3 500

Oversized items such as bowsers, trailers and bulk tanks may require dedicated freight. Where that applies we confirm the cost with you in writing before the order is accepted, and you may cancel at no charge. Deliveries outside South Africa are quoted individually.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where possible. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you once the issue is confirmed.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Because much of our catalog is specialised industrial and warehousing equipment, change-of-mind returns are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition. A restocking fee of 15% of the item price applies to approved change-of-mind returns and is deducted from your refund. Return carriage is at your own cost. No restocking fee applies to items that arrive damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered. Custom, made-to-order, and bulk trade orders are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless the item is faulty.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties apply to pumps, tanks, and powered equipment as noted on individual product pages. Warranty claims are handled in line with the relevant manufacturer’s terms — contact us with your order number and we’ll guide you through the process.

How to Start a Return or Claim

Get in touch via our Contact page with your order number, the reason for the return or claim, and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect. We’ll confirm next steps, usually the same working day.

Refunds
